Drink from the River

“How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.”

Are you lacking energy for certain things in your life? Allow Gods light into your heart.

It happens on an occasion when it seems like our lives are filled with heavy rain and it’s flooding our life with problems rather than Solutions. We can feel ourselves being a boat sinking in an ocean maybe feeling overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, alone, lacking Energy.

It’s a trying time for sure as patience wears thin and problems pile high, but remember the living water which springs up and gives life to the fullest. We can remind ourselves to draw abundantly from these waters in time of frustration.

It’s painful to be tested, but when you know the one who holds all things in his hands your heart soars and all thirst is satisfied. You are in the company of Jesus Christ who came not to be served but to serve. Can you think of any better place to be? Let God‘s love fill you up to overflowing with gratitude and praise.

Thank you God for your love that is so precious to me. You protect me and keep me safe, you give me life, let me be full of your love and your life today. And Lord as one day finishes and another is about to begin I ask that you continue to give me energy that will only really come from knowing you. Give me life, give me light and give me a good sleep tonight.
